Despite my fascination with everything that flies (some of my friends call it "obsession"), I have never understood why helicopters stay up there. Doesn't keep me from boarding one whenever I get a  chance.

Not currently - living on too confined space, and travelling too much. I've grown up with cats and dogs, though, and I hope to be able to get a companion again soon. Here's my friend of many years, sadly enough she died from liver problems when she was only 10 years old. Not that old for a cat...

If you followed my (admittedly scarce) postings here, you must have noticed that I'm impressed by the incorruptible passing of time, and touched by the things we know won't come back. This virtual "museum" is really the heart of what I find hard to say... that it makes me inexplicably sad to see things pass. Or corrode. Or to see once treasured items fade away.
